    I've been planning to write this since two weeks ago, when some bloggers featured black outfits in support of the Sunflower Movement (find out more here) where hundreds of thousands of civilians in black garb took to the streets to protest the Taiwan-China trade pact. Work and illness got in the way, but I guess better late than never, eh?

    會寫這篇其實是之前看到欣匠跟西喜的Instagram上放了『黑。台灣』一週黑色穿搭的串聯。無奈那陣子在醫院忙到大病了一場  T︿T   轉眼週四就要退出立法院了，不過這不是結束 ... 所以，黑色穿搭還是可以寫的吧？ @.@←話題也轉太快 XD

    I always thought myself as a pastel person with limited black in the wardrobe. I guess these dark rascals have a way of hiding themselves, and with some rummaging I managed to accumulate enough to muster one week worth of black outfits. A close one, I'd say!

    我一直覺得自己是個執著於粉彩色系的人，大概衣櫃裡的黑色單品也寥寥無幾。不過我想這些黑傢伙大約只是很有藏身的辦法，某天下午挖一挖衣櫃就成功拼湊出一週的黑色穿搭。但也只是一週而已，再下去大概就黔驢技窮了（這成語是這樣用的嗎？ XDD）

    I bought these black trousers a while ago, they're sort of my workwear staple. The best thing about them is that they're not too thick for warmer weather even though these are basically a fall/winter item.

    這條黑褲是去年在Two Do入手的，已經算是我上班服中不可或缺的一員。我覺得最讓人欣慰的是雖然它是秋冬商品，但是春夏天的氣候穿起來也不會太熱  :P

    I love flouncy skirts, and the satin finish of this one gives it a more sophisticated feel than if it were, say, tulle. A leather jacket completes the rock chic look.

    Capes are just such a fashion statement, you can look chic in an instant. I have this gold-buttoned cape in two colours, just perfect for say, London streets  :)

照例來一些雜七雜八的配件照片！

    Here're some of the accessories I use for this post. In keeping with the monochrome theme, I kept the palette simple with black and white and occasional gold or silver embellishments.

    這是這篇穿搭所用的部分配件。為了配合這次單色調的主題，主要都用一些黑色或白色的配件，偶爾加入金／銀的五金元素。

    This time I'm mainly using simple gold or silver jewellery to keep the outfits chic and simple. These grey Cor-date earrings appear in almost all of the outfits and add a glam factor to the black ensemble.

    這次我使用了比較簡單款式的飾品讓穿搭顯得比較俐落一些。不過這對華麗麗的 Cor-date 灰色耳環倒是很常出現，為黑色衣著增添一些貴氣。

Rainbow Eyes

    I've been ill these past few days, and was too bushed to post this look which I did a week ago. I got this colourful Love Alpha palette recently (you can find it here), it's dirt cheap and actually performs quite well considering the price. The glitter particles are mainly superficial and it's really not that shimmery when you apply it. The colour payoff is quite good and you can always layer on for more intense shades.

    這幾天大生病，所以根本沒精力上來 po 大約一週前拍的妝容照。最近買了這個很繽紛的 Love Alpha 眼影盤（賣場點這裡），使用心得是超便宜但表現還不錯啦！那澎湃的亮片其實只是表面的，實際擦起來並不是那麼 bling bling 的效果。眼影算是滿顯色的，而且可以不斷疊擦讓顏色更濃烈一點。

    1. Apply eyeshadow base on the eyelids to ensure longer-lasting shadows.

    2. Use an applicator to apply B on the inner corner and dab it out towards the center.

    3. Apply C next to B and use a brush to blend between the colours.

    4. Similarly, apply D next to C and blend.

    5. Apply A last and fade it a little further along the eyelid.

    6. You can use a clean brush to lightly blend the joins between the colours.

    7. If a colour does not look bright enough, you can always layer and blend until satisfied.

    8. For the lower lid, I use a neutral beige eyeshadow to brighten the under-eye area.

    9. Finish with eyeliner and mascara, and voila!

    1. 開始前先用打底膏塗在整個眼皮。

    2. 用眼影棒沾取 B，由眼頭往中間疊擦暈開。

    3. 沾取 C，擦在 B 旁邊，並且用眼影刷暈開兩色的交界處。

    4. 同樣的，用 D 擦在 C 旁邊並且暈開交界。

    5. 最後擦上 A 並且將顏色帶到眼尾。

    6. 用乾淨的眼影刷輕輕暈開各色間的交界。

    7. 如果覺得哪個顏色不夠亮，可以繼續疊擦暈開到滿意為止。

    8. 下眼影的部分，我只用了米色眼影強調臥蠶。

    9. 最後畫上眼線跟睫毛膏就宣告完成囉！

    To be honest, I feel this is a super-easy look because it really does not need any special techniques. You can just apply and blend until you're happy with the results. I have clumsy hands and rarely go beyond trusty brown eyeshadows, so this is something new to me. Try it, it's springtime after all!

    老實說，我真的覺得這個妝容算很簡單的，因為不需要什麼特別技巧。就只是一直在疊擦然後暈開到滿意為止 XDD  我平時化妝笨手笨腳又擺脫不了大地色眼影的安全感，這次算是新的嘗試啦！大家也來試試看啊，畢竟春天來了嘛（灑花） >///<

    By the way I put the look on my Instagram ( @ bonjourjasmineblog ) like ages ago, it certainly is more convenient than writing a blog post.  Oh, and apologies for the lack of close-ups of the eyes. I'm using a DSLR and had trouble focusing because of the focal length and my own trembling tired arms, haha ;)

NOTES

    Sartorial rules dictate that "Red and green should never be seen, except upon an Irish queen". Well, while I'm sure this rule has been broken many times over by daring fashionistas around the world, I'm always partial to touches of green in red outfits and vice versa. The beautifully detailed ring by Cor-date, along with the leaves on the shirt collar and teal hues on my nails, serve as a great contrast to my burgundy and grey outfit.

    英文有句說法，意思大約是＂絕對不要穿紅配綠，除非你是愛爾蘭女王＂。雖然我相信這個黃金戒律早已被世界各地的時尚人士一次次打破，但其實我很喜歡在紅色的穿搭中有綠色點綴，反之亦然。這次的穿搭中，Cor-date手工精緻的雪花戒指，加上上衣領子上的綠葉以及指尖藍綠的濃艷色彩，與這次灰與酒紅為主的穿搭形成了耀眼的對比。
