Brighton Rock

    Currently my favourite lipstick  -- "Brighton Rock" by Topshop. It looks really fuschia from the tube but on the lips, it's just a simple and flattering (very) bright pink. Not sure if it is as flattering on darker skintypes, but this actually works nicely as a blush too!

    I'm off to dinner now, but I promise I'll post something this weekend. For those weary of romantic outfits, now is perhaps a good time to steer clear! LOL  Bises ♥♥

    First outdoor shoot since I came back last week, I almost dreaded it as it was swelteringly hot out in the yard and mosquitoes were out in swarms. That said, it was all done and dusted in half an hour and mercifully I did not get too many bites on me.

    I think I will be featuring a barrage of dresses this month, starting with this Romwe cherry print dress ( with the cutest cherry buttons! ).  My wardrobe is on the verge of bursting now, and in case you haven't noticed, my search for black oxfords has just ended, a total steal too by the way!  :)

    Remember I told you in my last post that I finally bought that Chloé fragrance? In actual fact, I got another one long before it ... on my T-shirt, haha! See, I do wear perfume, don't I?

    Regarding the outfit, no, nothing romantic today  ;)  And I'd be ever so pleased if you would pretend not to see the horrendous dark roots of my hair. I tried to colour them using bubble foam yesterday, though in my hurry to get the job done and watch TV, I did not apply them thoroughly enough and now my hair is an unfortunate mix of brown, dark brown and burnt orange strands (sob).

    Have a nice weekend, darlings! I'd be on the couch watching the London Games, as should you! Vive les Jeux Olympiques  :D

Lovely Loot

    Well, as promised, a post of my haul. It's not much, I'm afraid, as I spent more time stuck in traffic jams than I did shopping. I did snag 3 or 4 pairs of shoes though, they're having this incredible sale and I got most of the shoes at 50%-70% markdown prices (yes, even the Forever 21 ones!).

     Oh, and I finally decided to go for the L'Eau de Chloé EDT. Perfect for summer, this scent! I'm already thinking about an outfit post with this perfume, sort of like the Nina Ricci one! Do stay tuned :)

I'm Back!

 

    Yes, I'm back from my little trip. I snapped up this adorable pair of Forever 21 floral flats with transparent sequins on my first day, they sparkle ever so subtly as you walk! Well, I'm off to dinner now, but more photos of my haul tomorrow! Bises ♥♥

    Voila! The promised outfit post ... now I can go on my trip with my conscience intact LOL  It wasn't easy taking the photos, mind ... the weather was cloudy at best, I bumped my knee against one of those columns (clumsy as per usual) and the photoshoot ended with a spectacular downpour  :(

    Dreadful luck aside, I got this Chanel lilac nail lacquer at a bargain price, and it was my main inspiration for this look. Heck, I was even wearing purple eyeshadows to match, too bad they're barely discernable in the photos  :(

New Stuff

    Here are some of my new acquisitions this month, not all of course -- the Romwe cherry print dress, beige petal shorts, some O.P.I. mini polishes, a sweet tulle hairbow and a pair of rosy brown culottes. I am still hoping to get myself a pair of shiny black oxfords for work (and perhaps white ones for weekends ;) ), fingers crossed!

    By the way, I would be going on a little trip next week, I am hoping there would be time for some serious shopping! I think I will post a new outfit this weekend (hope might be a better word ... the weekend is near, I know), and answer the comments before I embark. Wish me luck!  Bises  ♥♥
