茉茉‧旗袍

Why don't you stop me when I talk about Shanghai
It's just a lovers device.

NOTES

When I was young, my mum and I encountered a very beautiful cheongsam-clad woman at a teahouse in Singapore. It has been one of our favourite memories of the traditional dress ever since.

I bought this more casual version of cheongsam here with my mum last month. And I have become quite addicted despite its slim chances of outings. I can now perhaps endeavor to picture myself daintily sipping tea under the red lanterns, much like that stunning woman in Singapore so many years ago.

  3. I love cheongsams, I discovered them a year ago when I got one in a swap and dared to wear it to a birthday party. They are one of the most elegant styles of dresses ever to exist, I love them (the long lengths especially)
