A Season of Floral Obsession

    I bought this pair of lovely floral heels last year from Forever 21. Now I realize I have never done a single outfit post in it! In a sense, this is a warning post, just so you can watch out for another "romantic and floral" outfit post coming, in case you are already sick of it  :)

    In other news, I received a jaw-droppingly beautiful (and romantic, mind) necklace from Romwe this morning. I think I am already transported to the grandeur of ancient medieval courts just by gazing at it. I am also currently attempting to use Tenso (a Japanese webstore forwarding service) to procure "more" romantic clothes, I guess I do have an addiction issue going on.

    I love roses, and white ones more than reds. When I was little, I always imagined a lovely bouquet of cream white roses for my wedding one day. Naturally you will forgive my bubbly overexcitement when I delved into my parcel from Romwe one morning and discovered -- yes, a frock of roses!

    Oh, and please ignore the occasional sullen face and the unruly hair. I was down with an awful bout of cough (which kept me up all night) and today I have lost my voice  :(    I guess too much iced tea would do that to you.

    I have been meaning to do an outfit photoshoot with my plush leopard for a while now, and I was originally planning to just sit around with the toy, take a few photos and be done with it.

    The idea of this post came when I was watching the animated version of the macabre ( and dare I say, hilarious? ) "Gashlycrumb Tinies", an abecedarian book that kills off children in the goriest way possible. You can watch it here, it is ingenious!

A Pastel Wishlist

L'Eau de Chloé fragrance 

    I have been ensnared by the celadon hues of L'Eau de Chloé since the very first magazine ad, and the other day I came across The Body Shop's Lily Cole collection online which had me captivated by its ethereal shades. As you can see, I simply cannot escape the spell of the evil pastels, there are so many such items on my wishlist that they deserve their own category I think  ;)

    I am in a rather distressed mood lately. These photos were taken a few days ago when summer sunshine was still abundant and brimming, but since then it has been downpour after downpour. There goes my outdoor shoots, I guess.

Couleurs Douces

    I am undeniably afflicted with a delirious craving for pastels whenever the warmer months make their annual call. My lavender dress is now perched in delicate balance upon the window-sill while I try on a peach-hued rose in the hair.

    Just yesterday, I received yet another pastel confection in the mail -- a lovely customized laptop case from the nice people at Snupped.com.
